About this exciting opportunity
You will work closely with the Senior Trusts Foundations and Major Gifts Manager and will be responsible for maximising donations and grants across a variety of income streams. Main duties will include account managing and generating new trust relationships, initiating, researching and applying for new opportunities in line with St Giles Trust’s organisational strategy, plans and objectives and leading on fundraising events to new and existing donors.
What we are looking for:
-The ability to demonstrate a commitment and initiative to St Giles values
-Educated to degree level in the area of Social Science, Youth Work, English or Journalism (minimum 2:1) or equivalent Fundraising qualification or equivalent fundraising experience
-Hardworking, self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrable evidence of working well under own initiative and pressure to meet numerous deadlines
-Ability to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by our client group, in particular barriers faced by people with lived in experience
-Advanced IT skills – particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
