Salary: £25,162 – £26,959 per year
- This role offers flexibility for home and office working with travel to appointments to meet clients, as well as outreach sessions. Office location is Earl’s Court SW5 9EB. As a Victim Advocate you will work Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm with some evening and weekend working on occasion. You will act as the single point of contact for your clients offering face to face support and ensuring they receive their rights & support from external agencies. You will need the ability to undertake needs and risks assessments and create appropriate support plans.
You will work in partnership with Local Authority’s Anti-Social Behaviour Team, Police, Landlords and a range of other agencies to provide support, information and advocacy to vulnerable and intimidated victims of Anti-Social Behaviour and Hate Crime including
You will develop and enhance local key stakeholder relationships with a view to enhancing partnership working and identifying / assisting in obtaining referrals including from outreach sessions.
You will recruit, manage and develop volunteers who will support victims and witnesses of Anti-Social Behaviour and Hate Crime.
For this role, you will need to be able to manage a demanding workload and to meet a range of conflicting deadlines.
